OPEC crude basket drops to $60.87

Vienna, Dec 6 (efe-epa).- The basket of crude oil used as a benchmark indicator by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries decreased to $60.87, the OPEC Secretariat said on Wednesday.

OPEC said the price of its basket went down by $0.58 on Tuesday, compared with the closing price at the previous session.

The February delivery of Brent crude opened at $62.67 per barrel at the start of Wednesday's trading on the futures market, a 0.3 percent decrease since the previous session's close.
