Dhaka decked up for Bangladesh global trade fair

Dhaka, Jan 8 (efe-epa).- Final preparations were underway on Tuesday at the Sher-e-Bangla Nagar neighborhood in the Bangladeshi capital on the eve of the inauguration of the month-long Dhaka International Trade Fair.

Workers were seen working round the clock, putting finishing touches to get the site ready for the Wednesday inauguration, an epa journalist reported.

The trade fair, organized by the Export Promotion Bureau and the Ministry of Commerce, will continue until Feb.8.

"This event would project quality exportable of Bangladesh to the visitors from home and abroad," the organizers said in a statement.

The event will have 550 stalls and pavilions where local producers and exporters as well as those from abroad can showcase their goods and technological advancements.
